Let it be known that pop ingenue Slayyyter delivers. After the house-oriented, Valentine’s Day bop “Mine,” the singer has returned to her glitchy production of the past on “Daddy AF,” the final single of her upcoming, self-titled mixtape. In the same vein as her campy Christmas release “All I Want for XXXmas,” “Daddy AF” is an uber-sexual track that sees Slayyyter play with the inherent masculinity of the term “daddy” and repurposing it for her stereotypical girl-next-door image. With abrasive synthesizers framing her aggressive vocals, the singer has gifted listeners with another inexplicably fun track to tide us over until her packaged release.

“I been fuckin’ models” is the most exciting opening line from a pop singer so far this year, and it only gets more entertaining from there. After referencing Playboy and the wild parties that take place at their residence, Slayyyter launches into the chorus, a repetitious mantra about feeling “daddy af” — whatever that means. Moving into the second verse, the singer finally dives into the meat of the track: she’s fucking horny. Describing what she and her partner are getting up to under the sheets (or in the pink truck that’s mentioned just before) and sampling a viral video where a woman pleads “please come fuck me!” in the bridge, the singer makes her intentions as clear as humanly possible. As “Daddy AF” dissolves in its outro, Slayyyter forces the listener to bask in the ridiculousness of the whole event, and we have no choice but to stan.
